The specific scope of any project is governed by a written estimate or contract provided to you before work begins. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer to perform services at any particular price or timeline until a written agreement is signed by both parties.
All estimates we provide are based on the information available at the time of the on-site assessment. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Prices are subject to change if:
We will notify you of any pricing changes in writing before proceeding with additional or modified work. No change to the agreed scope or price is valid unless confirmed in writing by both parties.
Project start dates are estimates and may be subject to change due to permit approval timelines, weather conditions, material availability, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate any scheduling changes promptly.
If you wish to cancel a project after signing a contract, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply to cover costs already incurred, including permit fees, materials ordered, and labor scheduled. The specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your project contract.
We reserve the right to postpone or cancel a project if site conditions are unsafe, if payment is not received according to the agreed schedule, or if access to the work area cannot be reasonably provided.
Payment schedules are established in the written project contract. Typically, projects are structured with a deposit at contract signing, one or more progress payments during construction, and a final payment upon satisfactory completion. Specific amounts and due dates will be stated in your contract.
Invoices not paid by their due date may be subject to a late fee as specified in the contract. We reserve the right to pause work on any project where payment is overdue by more than 10 days. Customers are responsible for all costs of collection, including reasonable legal fees, in the event of a payment dispute.
Where required by local ordinance, Petaluma Sunrooms & Patios will obtain the necessary building permits for your project. Permit fees are typically passed through to the customer at cost and will be itemized in your estimate. The customer is responsible for obtaining any HOA approvals required by their homeowners association before work begins. Delays caused by permit review processes or HOA approval timelines are not the responsibility of Petaluma Sunrooms & Patios and do not constitute a breach of contract.
You agree to:
Petaluma Sunrooms & Patios warrants that all work will be completed in a workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. Specific warranty terms, including duration and coverage, will be stated in your project contract.
Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, acts of nature, or conditions outside the scope of the original project. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products are passed through to the customer where applicable. We will assist you in pursuing manufacturer warranty claims on your behalf where reasonable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Petaluma Sunrooms & Patios's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, loss of use, or property damage not directly caused by our work. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain damages, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.
